Hello, I'm Carissa

Wedding Photographe • Twin mom • storyteller

Hi, I'm Carissa, the photographer behind Twin Chaos Photography.

As a twin mom, Fiancée, and lover of genuine connection, I know how important it is to preserve the moment that matter most.

My goal isn't just to create beautiful photographs. It's to create an experience where you can relax, be present, and enjoy your day while I document the moments, you'll never want to forget.

My approach

I believe the best photographs happen when you're focused on each other, not the camera. That's why I guide when needed and step back when the moment deserves to unfold naturally.

Whether it's a quiet glance during your ceremony, the laughter during family photos, or the tears during your first dance, I'm always looking for the moments that tell your story. My editing style focuses on natural color, genuine emotion, and timeless imagery that will still feel beautiful years from now.

WHy Twin Chaos?

Twin Chaos Photography was inspired by my twin boys, Hunter and Noah.

Life isnt perfect, and neither are the moments that mean the most.

The laughter.

The happy tears.

The unexpected moments.

Thats where the real story lives.

The Name Twin Chaos is a reminder that beauty can be found in the perfectly imperfect moments we share with the people we love.

Kind words from

Tabitha &  Jake

"Carissa went above and beyond for my wedding. She made us feel comfortable every important moment, and delivered photos we'll treasure forever."

Questions & Answers

Do you travel for weddings or destination sessions?

01.

Absolutely! I photograph weddings and sessions throughout Alberta and am always open to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and will always be discussed in advance.

Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?

02.

Of course. I believe it's important that we are a good fit for one another. I'm happy to chat by phone, video call, or email to answer your questions and learn more about your vision before you book.

03.

Do you visit the location before the day of the session?

Whenever possible, yes. If I haven't photographed at your chosen location before, I will research it beforehand and may visit in advance when practical. I also arrive early on the day of your session or wedding to familiarize myself with the area and lighting conditions.

04.

Do you help create wedding day timelines?

Yes! One of my favourite parts of the planning process is helping couples create a photography timeline that allows enough time for all the important moments while keeping the day relaxed and enjoyable.

05.

What happens if the weather is bad?

For portrait sessions, we can reschedule if weather conditions are unsafe or would negatively impact your experience. For weddings, I always come prepared with backup plans and location ideas to ensure we can still create beautiful images, rain or shine.

06.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

You’ll typically receive a sneak peek within a few days of your session or wedding. Full galleries are usually delivered within 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the season and current workload. This allows me time to carefully edit and curate your images with the attention they deserve.

07.

Do you help with posing?

Absolutely. Most of my clients tell me they're nervous about being in front of the camera, and that's completely normal. I'll guide you every step of the way while also capturing genuine moments and natural interactions that reflect your unique connection.

08.

How do we officially book our wedding date?

Once you've decided you'd like to work together, I'll send over a contract and invoice. A signed contract and 50% retainer are required to officially secure your wedding date. Dates are booked on a first come, first served basis.

Ready to tell your Story?

Whether you're planning a wedding, celebrating an engagement, or documenting a milestone, I'd love to hear your story and help preserve the moments that matter most.
